Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence 2017

Balaban’s has once again been recognized by Wine Spectator with it's coveted Best of Award of Excellence. This the eighth year that Balaban’s has been recognized by Wine Spectator and includes every year the restaurant has been open in Chesterfield. To win the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, a restaurant’s wine list must display excellent breadth across multiple wine growing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation. Typically offering 350 or more selections, these restaurants are destinations for serious wine lovers, showing a deep commitment to wine, both in the cellar and through their service team.  Read more here

Balaban’s was one of 15 Restaurants in the St. Louis area to receive the Wine Spectator magazine's Restaurant Awards this year. In 2016, seventeen restaurants (including Balaban’s) received the award. The St Louis Business Journal has published an article high lighting the awards and Balaban’s receipt of the Wine Spectator Award for the eighth straight year.
