Joseph Phelps Vineyards is a family-owned and operated wine estate with vineyards and wineries in Napa Valley and on the western Sonoma Coast. The winery was founded in 1973 by Joseph Phelps, a successful construction executive and entrepreneur whose early interest in wine led him to establish vineyards on a 670-acre former cattle ranch in Napa Valley. Over the next 42 years Joe became one of the most respected figures in the California wine industry, building Joseph Phelps Vineyards into a critically-acclaimed winery internationally known for its iconic wines and unwavering commitment to quality.

The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc has a fragrant bouquet of ripe lychee, lilac, rose petals, Honeycrisp apple, Meyer lemon peel, and stone fruit. Fresh and focused with nicely balanced minerality, bright acidity, lemon crème, and apricot.
POACHED SALMON AND LEMON TERRINE WITH BIBB LETTUCE SALAD
2014 Freestone Chardonnay – Sonoma County, California
Fragrant orange blossom, citrus peel and ripe green apple scents are a hallmark of this wine. Bright and fresh with firm acidity and balanced minerality, the 2014 Chardonnay is overflowing with Gravenstein apple, vanilla bean, and Kaffir lime notes followed by a long lemon creme finish.

2014 Freestone Pinot Noir – Sonoma County, California
The 2014 Pinot Noir showcases aromatic red fruit, fragrant violet and savory spices. Fresh and focused on the palate with concentrated red raspberry and cherry, currant, baking spices, and a hint of smoked meat. Nicely textured with firm acidity and a lingering finish.
GOLDEN WILD BOAR WITH ENGLISH BRANSTON CHUTNEY PEACH PUREE, AND RAMEY DEMI -GLACE REDUCTION
2014 Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley, California
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon highlights blackberry, dried blueberry and violet with notes of graphite and cloves followed by opulent layers of black currant jam, roasted coffee, tobacco, dried fig, and vanilla bean. A full-bodied, deeply concentrated wine with supple tannins and a lengthy finish.

The 2014 Insignia opens with expressive blackberry, cocoa powder, Bergamot and floral aromatics. Fresh and focused with concentrated black fruit, mocha, cardamom, and Madagascar vanilla notes. Opulent and rich with supple tannin structure and balance.
