The Ramey Wine Dinner will be held on Sunday, December 10th at 6:30 pm. David Ramey has been named one of the best winemakers in North America by Vineyard & Winery Magazine. Decanter Magazine asserts that Ramey is making "the best Chardonnays in the world (outside of Burgundy). David Ramey has been a major figure in California winemaking for several decades, consistently producing wines of great beauty and complexity.

David Ramey has been a major figure in California winemaking for several decades, consistently producing wines of great beauty and complexity.

Join us for a special evening of Ramey Wines paired with Chef's food pairings.

Guests will be greeted with a Glass of Sparkling Wine and an Appetizer Reception

$110 per person plus tax and gratuity

1st Course

CRAB MEAT FLAN WITH RED PEPPER COULIS AND CHIVE
2014 Ramey Chardonnay – Russian River Valley, California
A vibrant white, this offers complex, rich green apple, pear and spice flavors with a hint of hazelnut coming through on the fresh, cleansing finish.

2nd Course

SEA BASS VERACRUZ
2014 Ramey Chardonnay Woolsey Road – Russian River Valley, CA
Exotic jasmine, pineapple and guava notes with hints of crème brulee, and croissant. Medium-bodied with plenty of finesse in the mouth, it gives a nice balance between the fruit and savory flavors, with a silken texture and finishing long and toasty.

3rd Course

CHIMMI CHURRI PORK WITH BLACK BEAN PUREE AND ROASTED SWEET PEPPERS
2015 Ramey Claret – Napa Valley, California
Bordeaux-like in its subtlety and restraint, yet rich, flavorful, full-bodied and expansive, with a mix of cedar, currant, cigar box, tar, and mineral. Firm and focused, its elegance and refinement are impressive. Its dense ruby/purple hue is followed by a velvety textured, plush, round, generous wine with lots of texture and fruit.

4th Course

MILK BRAISED ELK WITH BRUSSEL SPROUTS AND FINGERLING POTATOES
2014 Ramey Syrah – Sonoma Coast, California
Well-structured and appealingly savory, with blueberry and smoky cured meat aromas and focused flavors of dark plum, underbrush and pepper.

CHOCOLATE ÉCLAIR
2013 Ramey Annum Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley, California
The brilliant 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum has licorice, floral notes, smoky underlying subtle oak, blackberry and cassis and a full-bodied mouthfeel with moderate but sweet tannin. This dense wine is exuberant/boisterous and should offer gorgeous drinking over the next 20 plus years.
