In 1996, Scott Greer found 76 acres of land located on a hilltop in the Yakima Valley. The following year, he started the vineyard by planting ten acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah grapes. Sheridan Vineyard's first harvest was in 2000. That year, Scott bottled a Syrah and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc now known as L'Orage. Today, with the property fully planted, Scott continues to focus on sustainable farming practices and keeping yields low as the vineyard matures.

A rich, full-flavored effort that gives up plenty of poached pear and butter apple notes in its medium to full-bodied, creamy, rounded style. It picks up subtle floral and toasted nut characteristics with time in the glass.
ROASTED PARTRIDGE WITH WILD RICE AND SQUASH PUREE

Its deep ruby/purplish color is followed by notes of blackcurrants, white chocolate, wood smoke and tobacco. Deep, plush and opulent on the palate, with a silky texture.
GORGONZOLA STUFFED BEEF TENDERLOIN WITH BLENDED ROOT VEGETABLES
2015 Sheridan Cabernet Sauvignon-93 Points, Wine Advocate
A deep purple/ruby colored red from Scott that has considerable elegance in its creme de cassis, lead pencil, toasted bread and black raspberry scented bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, silky and polished on the palate, with terrific purity.

2013 Sheridan Singularity Syrah-97 Points, Wine Advocate
A meaty, beefy, smoky wine that always brings to my mind a top Côte Rôtie from the Guigal family. Smoked meats, cured bacon fat, chocolate, blackcurrants and licorice nuances flow to a full-bodied, impeccably balanced, seamless Syrah that has nicely integrated acidity, ripe tannin and a great finish.
